Experiences are the basis of wisdom, so listen to people who have already travelled this path
As young adults, we can be a bit hard-headed sometimes. We don’t want to take advice from people older than us because we think we have it all figured out. But a lot of the time, we know about half as much as we think.
Apart from trying to figure out personal finance on your own, seek out advice from people who have made mistakes and can teach you how to avoid them. It could be your parents, relatives, coworkers or even a mentor. Also the people you find in books, videos, all over the internet, and have a history of financial success. They may not be 100% right, but they will always serve as a guide.
There are a ton of books and articles online written by personal finance experts that you can rely on. The information is out there, but it’s up to you to consume it and learn from it.
