Employee finds $42,000 hidden in donated sweaters and returns the money

Goodwill employee found an incredible amount of money in her store and decided to give it back, check it out!

Goodwill people still exist in the world. An Oklahoma owner of a thrift shop found the incredible amount of $42,000 inside a sweater that was donated to her store and içmmediately gave it back to its owner. The woman's name is Andrea Lessing who recounted to NBC News how she had stumbled upon the huge amount of money, saying:

"Just from working here a month and a half, I've realized that there are a lot of things that have been donated, you want to make sure there's good product, there's no stains, there's no holes, there's no tears, there's no rips."

Lessing, a mother to a 6-year-old girl, admitted it was hard not to think of how she could have used the money if she could have kept it. But she went on to say that she believes that "when you do something good you get it back" adding:

"I have a daughter, I love her very much and you can't put a price on my daughter, I know what could be risked stealing that money and I do believe in karma. I do believe that if you do something good, something good will come back to you."

Goodwill people are still around

In the end, Andrea got a great reward after giving the money back to the owner, who decided to gift her with $1,000 after discovering her goodwill act. Now Lessing says that she can finally give her daughter a big party since her birthday is coming up soon.
