“Wealth is not about having a lot of money; it’s about having a lot of options.”
Parts of society has led you to believe that money is not important. For some, you were conditioned when growing up and told that “You shouldn’t have too much money because other people don’t have money” or “Don’t put all your attention on money, there’s more things to life than just money.” Money doesn’t buy you happiness, they say.
Money may not buy you happiness, but poverty doesn’t buy you anything. It is important not because of the money itself but for what you can exchange with it. All the great things that you want in life require money. To say that money is not important would imply that your life is not important.
If you only stop to think about it, imagine all the things that are within your reach just by having enough money to acquire them, and how not having it, limits you to not even being able to consider them as options.
So don't take the side of people who think money isn't important, but who probably need it for a million things they wish they could have. Make money a priority and help yourself and your loved ones.
