2021 was his most successful year
His professional career in onstage performance began when he appeared in The Inspector Calls. Since then, he has appeared in several productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He later moved to television and appeared on Oliver Twist.
Paul Bettany made his debut on film with a role in Bent (1997). He was first noticed on the mainstream scene in the British film Gangster No.1 (2000) and in A Knight’s Tale directed by Brian Helgeland. He has also appeared in films such as A Beautiful Mind (2001), Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), Dogville (2003), and the adaptation of the novel The Da Vinci Code (2006).
However, his career went to the next level when he started performing his role as Vision for Marvel movies.
Bettany made his modest MCU debut in 2008, voicing Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) AI assistant, JARVIS. He reprised that small role in Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. That last film was a major evolution for Bettany’s role in the series, as JARVIS became the basis for the Vision, an android hero that Bettany got to play in the flesh.
Paul Bettany’s net worth increased a lot after the release of his Disney+ show Wandavision.
It was a total hit and it's already the most-watched show on the web.
