From hiring British cellist prodigy Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Idris Elba to DJ to organising top tier security for their A-list guests including George Clooney and Serena Williams it naturally came with an immense price tag of an estimated $45.8 million.

Once there, their celebrity guests and royals enjoyed a towering Fiona Cairns cake, multi-course dinner and a performance by Ellie Goulding - who sang a cover of Elton John’s ‘Your Song’ for the couples first dance.

On the day of the wedding, family and many of George’s Hollywood friends stepped out in their finery to celebrate at the seven-star Aman Canal Grande Hotel where Amal wore Oscar de la Renta.
