The new "action plan" to deal with the most recent outbreak of coronavirus infections and the slow rate of vaccination in the country forces all employers with more than 100 workers to require them to be vaccinated or undergo diagnostic tests weekly. This is a measure that will affect about 80 million Americans.

In addition, approximately 17 million health facility workers who receive federal Medicare and Medicaid services will also need to be fully vaccinated.

"We have been patient," Biden pointed out against the millions of Americans who have refused to receive coronavirus vaccines.

Together, the measures and speech represent Biden's most aggressive steps yet amid resistance by Americans to vaccinations, at a time when COVID-19 cases from the rapidly spreading Delta variant are on the rise.

In addition, approximately 17 million health facility workers who receive federal Medicare and Medicaid services will also need to be fully vaccinated.

"We need to do more with vaccines, it is not about freedom or personal choice," United States President Joe Biden said today, referring to the Covid-19 crisis and to illustrate his new plan against the pandemic.

"Many of us are frustrated by the roughly 80 million Americans who are not vaccinated," Biden said. "We have the means to fight the virus if we increase the rate of vaccination," he later emphasized.
