Kris Jenner says she didn't know how to handle money until she divorced

The Kardashian matriarch opened up about how her former husband Robert Kardashian was always in charge of her finances 

Kris Jenner is now known for her incredible business succes along her family. But it wasn't always like that for the Kardashian matriarch, who recently opened up about how her divorce from former husband and celebrity lawyer Robert Kardashian forced her to be in charge of her own finances.

Her recent confession came during her wide-ranging cover interview for WSJ. Magazine's where besides talking about how she became economically independent, she also discussed her family's new Hulu multi year deal.

Jenner admitted that while being married with Kardashian she never paid a single bill and that he was in charge of all the money concerning their family, which included daughters Kim, Kourtney and Klhoe and son Robert.  She went on to say that although this was embarrassing for her at the beginning, she quickly learnt how to become financially independent and felt proud about being able to take charge of things by herself:

"I felt such an enormous sense of accomplishment to be able to figure it all out and pay my own bills and make my own money and do my own taxes. And there were times when I didn't have a lot of money, but I was very organized."

Kris says that now her perspective has changed a lot and she has become more and more interested in the business world. Let's not forget that she is the manager behind all of her famous children success:

"I'm interested in different ways that people make money and in what's happening around the world. And I'm interested in different businesses and how they evolve and how they become successful. I just enjoy the business world."

Jenner has an estimated net worth of $190 million, according to Forbes.
