How much are the members of Green Day worth?

The band has been around since the late 80s and there are two things they are really good at: rocking and making money!

They started out as a punk rock band back in the late 80s, with quite simple punk albums, both musically and lyrically. Their big break was with the release of Dookie, in 1994, and from there on, they were just unstoppable.

As the members of the band grew older, their style changed and they went from being a pop-punk band to a political band. Whether you hate them or you love them, there is no denying that they are still around and it doesn't look like they are going anywhere, as they are still active to this day (and they have recently released their album number thirteen!).

So, as you could imagine, so many years in the music industry certainly pays off. This is how much money they have amassed.

The band might have been changing styles throughout the albums, but since their big break, it was always the same three members:  Billie Joe Armstrong as lead vocalist and guitarist, bass player Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool.

Of course, the frontman usually gets the best part. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Armstrong is worth a whopping $55 million. But wait: Green Day is one of those bands that sings the songs as a band and not as one sole member, so Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool are not far behind: they both have a stunning net worth of $50 million each!

So, it appears to be that they run the band following the same political principles they are so passionate about: pretty democratically!
