You will be the point person for administrative help, supporting our Human Resources department.
Talent Table is a staffing solutions company located in Oakland, California specializing in Creative, Marketing and IT placements. They are looking for a remote part-time Administrative Assistant to support their HR team in their day to day business.
- Assists with new employee pre-screening requirements
- Coordinates departmental and companywide event planning
- Assists with HR reporting requests
- Assists with employee on-boarding and off-boarding tasks
- Prepare pertinent employee communications
- Provide back-up support to the Recruiting Coordinator and HR team
- Attends and taking minutes at department meetings
- Provides administrative support to human resources function by creating new hire offer packets, maintaining employee files, including personnel files, medical files, applicant files and update the HRIS database
- Creates and updates Human Resources and facility reports and spreadsheets as needed.
- Sets appointments and arranging meetings, as needed
- Various other administrative duties, as assigned
You must be able to work independently and be well organized as this position is offsite. The company is looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in office administration and an expert in Microsoft Office. Your best assets are your follow-up skills, attention to detail and ability to problem-solve. Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
