The legendary Japanese video game studio Konami confirmed that on September 30 it will launch eFootball 22, its new soccer game, and highlighted that it will be available for free worldwide for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Windows 10 and PC via Steam.

eFootball 2022 is the successor to the legendary and successful Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) that for decades competed for the preference of soccer fans with the FIFA saga, from developer EA Sports

From the time of the Playstation 1 console and to the present day, fans of the saga did not decline in their fanaticism, despite the growth of the game by the Canadian company.

This time, this new title represents the first season for what will become a "content platform" from now on.

Konami bets from this year on the "freemium" game format, through content updates after its first version is released on September 30, both on PC (Steam, Windows 10) and on current consoles. generation (Playstation 5, Xbox Series X / S) and previous generation (Playstation 4, Xbox One). As if this weren't enough, a free update to eFootball 2022 for iOS and Android cell phones is coming this spring.

The game will offer from its launch the possibility of playing offline matches against artificial intelligence and friends choosing between nine possible teams: FC Barcelona, FC Bayern München, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal FC, SC Corinthians Paulista, CR Flamengo, CA River Plate and São Paulo FC.

In addition, there will be a choice of six stadiums (Camp Nou, Old Trafford, Allianz Stadium, Emirates Stadium, Allianz Arena and eFootball Stadium), and players will be able to play weekly online events with crossplay, that is, they will be able to play against players who are on a platform other than yours.

For its part, the spring update will add the Creative Teams mode to create and manage a team, as well as the match tours against the Tour Event AI, the Challenge Events against other players, the online friendlies Online Quick Match and the rooms of matches Online Match Lobby.
