The months of confinement and social distance made us all eat at home every day and order food when we felt like taking a night off cooking. What fast-food chain was voted the one with the best burgers?
2020 was a year in which food chains had to adjust to new consumer trends such as online shopping and home orders, and thanks to that they managed to stay afloat. But even though many food chains were popular, a survey has revealed which one has America’s favorite burgers. Can you guess which one was the winner?
Last year, while Americans were staying at home and indulging in home delivery services, a survey revealed which fast-food chains have America's favorite burgers.
A few months ago, the food news portal, Mashed, asked 555 people from across the United States which fast food restaurant they believe has the best hamburgers. Can you guess which one was voted the most?
Several tempting options were mentioned in the survey: McDonald’s, Shake Shack, Five Guys, White Castle, Wendy’s, Burger King, and the In-N-Out chain.
Respondents could also choose an option that said “Other” and then specify a restaurant that did not appear on the list if it was their favorite burger purveyor.
The survey results showed that Five Guys burgers were the most chosen with 23.06% of the votes, while 18.38% of those interviewed chose In-N-Out, which came in second. Wendy’s and Burger King followed closely with 16.58% and 15.68%, respectively.
The least popular options were McDonald’s 6.85%, Shake Shack 6.13%, and White Castle 4.5%.
Anyway, the pandemic seems to be receding, so you can already head over to your own favorite store and enjoy your burger there. And nobody will judge you if isn’t among the most popular choices on the list.
