It only takes just a few essentials and very little planning for you to enjoy a nice variety of cool cocktails. And actually, you might be surprised by the fact that most popular cocktails are usually the cheapest!

Here are 5 easy-to-make recipes for you to enjoy this weekend.

1- Cape Codder

This simple yet tasty drink is really easy to make: all you need is vodka and cranberry juice. You can also add some lime wedges, but that is optional. Here’s the how-to:

Ingredients:
3 ounces cranberry juice
2 ounces vodka
Garnish: lime wedge

Instructions:
Pour the ingredients into a highball glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Squeeze the juice from the lime wedge into the drink and drop it into the glass.
Tip: if you want to spritz up your cape codder, you can add a splash of your favorite clear soda. Ginger ale is usually a perfect choice.

2- Margarita

The original margarita is one of the easiest cocktails to make from scratch. And the refreshing lime flavor is ideal for a summer night. 

Ingredients:
1 ½ ounces tequila
1-ounce triple sec (Cointreau)
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
Garnish: lime wedge
Optional: salt or sugar for rimming

Instructions:
Gather the ingredients. To rim, a chilled cocktail glass, wet the rim with a lime wedge, then dip or roll it in a small dish of salt or sugar, whichever you prefer.
