Things are getting spicey at McDonald's

With people staying home. takeaways and deliveries have benefited from higher sales, but food chains have also made changes to their menus to make operations easier. What new change is there at McDonald's?

McNuggets seem to have been a part of the hamburger chain forever, but in fact, they've only been on the menu since 1983. In those nearly four decades, McNuggets have remained the same. But things are about to change.

McDonald's officially unveiled its first-ever Spicy Chicken McNuggets and the new Mighty Hot Sauce for dipping, saying they'll be available to order at most of its locations on September 16, according to Thrillist.

The new McNuggets are made with the same innocuous chicken nugget chicken as regular McNuggets, but sport a new tempura breading that include both cayenne and chili pepper seasonings.

As for the Mighty Hot Sauce, McDonald's said it boasts "a blend of crushed red pepper and spicy chilis, balanced with savory garlic and a hint of sweetness" and will leave your mouth steaming with heat.

At a time when many food chains are taking items off their menus to make operations easier, it's refreshing to have a new product to try.
