We all love freebies, but let’s be honest: sometimes they are not that good. That’s why we came up with this list of 5 great things you can get for free.
On this list, you will find high quality items you can get for free:
1- Free museum visits
A lot of top-notch museums and galleries offer free visits all year round. For example, the Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C., the Getty Center in Los Angeles and Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo. Some other places, like the Museum of Modern Art in New York, will let you in for free on certain days of the week.
2- Free concerts
A great way to enjoy concerts and events for free is by volunteering as an usher at a local theater. You can always contact them and check how to apply.
If you don’t think this is the right option for you, you can always enjoy the occasional free concerts that are held at some performing arts centers. For example, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., holds a free concert every evening.
3- Free movies
Streaming subscriptions and cable can add up. Fortunately, there are some free options for you to enjoy movies at home. You can check a TVs network website, where you will usually find access to series and movies for free, or you could test streaming services for the free month trial period they offer. Just remember to cancel your subscription before the period is up!
4- Free e-books
You can legally download thousands of books from Gutenberg.org or from the University of Pennsylvania’s Online Books Page. If you have a Kindle or the free Kindle reading app, you can also swap books with your friends for as long as 14 days.
5- Free food at restaurants
Some of your favorite restaurants might offer an annual freebie day. Here’s a list of the most common freebies you can find at your local restaurant:
-Free pancakes from IHOP on National Pancake Day, February 25.
